Outdoor pics....but the cicadas.......

lilroach56 May 28, 2004 03:24 PM

hey, as you now know i am getting a blood tomorrow. I would like to take some outdoor pics once it gets situated here, but we have millions of the 17 year cicadas. Should i wait until they are gone or is it safe to take outdoor pics with them?

Hey sweet man, what kind of blood? I'm getting one at the Arizona show on June 5th, I hope to find a Borneo blood.

I don't think Cidadas are any kind of threat to the snake, but she might get spooked by them; besides she might be stressed out anyways. Might want to wait for a couple weeks before taking her out. But I'm know expert by any means...

17 year cicadas wtf are those? If it's those bugs you find sheds on trees then it's fine. otherwise no idea what your talking about!

Hey,
Lmao!@@!, there is absolutely, nothing to fear with the cicadas and the snake, as you know, or probably don't, snakes have no visible ears to hear them with and so therefore, there is no harm in taking it out for a photo session. I love them little buggers that make that awesome sound, that is if you only have one or two around sounding off from a tree. At any rate, don't sweat it, they won't hurt your snake and the snake has no need or reason to fear a little cicada. Go for it! Happy shooting!

Just making sure, didn't wanna see a snakes reaction when some nasty little bug lands on it.
