Really odd Anaconda

royalserpent85 May 28, 2004 03:29 PM

I just got this beautiful female green anadonda a little while back. I've only had her for a few months, and she's shed four times and she's growing really fast. When I got her, she was only 4 feet, now she's up to 6 ft, and she's a lot thicker too. She's also super tame. She's like a big ball python; nothing will upset her. My friend calls it the "Anti-conda" because it so unlike a lot of other anacondas. After she eats, she will crap out her meal in about 3 days, and be ready for more. I thought it was worms or something at first, because no snake I've had processes food that quick. i had her checked by the vet and he said she's perfectly OK. I don't get it.

Often when snakes are kept in high temps, they either process their food very fast or they regurgitate it. You might check your temps. What are you feeding it currently?
