I was just wondering if you can put a RES in a pool. I just wanted to let them out of the tanks every now and then. But I wasn't too sure about the chlorine in the pool if it would hurt the turtles eyes or whole body. (Really wouldn't want that)Thanks

I've caught a RES in a pool before... little 6" sucker was fast...but I got him and hosed him off... his eyes were swollen for about 3 days, and he looked kind of dried out even under water...

The chlorine will hurt his eyes, I wouldn't suggest it. You could set up a baby pool for him if you want, just make sure part of it is out of the sun and that the water doesn't get too hot.
