Awesome leopard! They can be hard to photograph, and you really have to hold/see a leopard boa in person to get the true idea of how incredible these animals are. As I've said before, I'd take the leopard boas over the motleys any day. In reality, a motley is a very cool pattern that's not too far from normal, or a good CBLT like the animal you were working with. A leopard boa on the other hand...INCREDIBLE pattern abberancy. I really think the leopard boas are extremely underpriced in comparison with some other boa morphs. Which is fine, as it saves me some cash, but just imagine what we have to look forward too. So, here's hoping those Het T+ Leopards Jeremy and Pete have cooking come out perfect and plentiful. By the way, did the hypo to leopard breeding take this year for you? Thanks for the pic, take care!

Actually, there will be no hypo het Leopards from us this season, as there will be no sunglows or dbl het sunglow argentine x's or Longicauda or....etc.....lol. We are only expecting 2 litters this year, hypo x normal and hypo x pastel.

I too love the Leopard an agree totally that they are under priced...............Talk to the guys who have most of them ~

Did you lose interest, or still working on it? I was hoping you'd produce some hypo het leopards this year. I think with the abberancy seen in het leopards, that hypo het leopards have the potential to be awesome. Then the hypo leopards just unbelievable! Best of luck, and keep us all posted. Take care!

Paul,

I don't think it is necessary to have to compare to put one animal down over another. I can say I have the largest collection of Leopards and Motleys in the US, and you couldn't PAY me enough money if I had to give them all up to keep my BEST Leopard over my Best Motley. The Motley DESTROYS the Leopard. That is MY opinion. Everyone in person who has been to my place and seen apples to apples would agree. The Motley you are looking on a long term basis a CA Motley that bred at your place where you and James had that one litter that was advertized on the classifieds. Now a CA Motley to a Leopard?? I still wouldn't go that far. BUT IT IS ONLY OPINION!!!!!! I can tell you the Motleys are a LOT different from Normals. Not just a little pattern here or there. The Color, the pattern, and the whole looks Is NOTHING NORMAL.

HOWEVER, The Leopards are a GREAT snake. I would say they are BOTH good animals. I don't think they need to be sold as ONE better then a different Morph. Just my PERSONAL VICE, but I can't stand it when people try to sell one animal over another. Just show what you've got and let others decide. They are ALL great. Some greater to others. Obviously you would prefer a Leopard over a Motley, but to make a blank statement saying you'd take Leopards over Motleys far from opinons I know. Trust Me. I've sold Both. Motleys sell 10 times faster then Leopards. Just my 2 cents. As far as ANIMALS go, they are BOTH equal snakes. I prefer the Motley in growth looks, temperment, and overall well doing do the Leopard, but BOTH are good. One is not better then the other but I certainly would prefer them. As far as the Pricing, people always get animals hoping for a LOW price. Then when they have them, they WISH others would raise the price, or "WISH THEY WERE MORE". I guess that is just human nature.

The leopards are sold on a Supply and Demand. Them being a CA boa, they are easier to breed, and there are a lot of them produced. Also, the producer of them, HANS WINNER, did it RIGHT. He kept back many of the offspring and built up a VERY nice group of them before he started selling them. VERY SMART. Hats off to him for producing AWESOME animals, but the price is determend by Demand. (I know that isn't anything were saying Paul, just touching on that subject since I have lots of leopards for Sale). Jeremy Stone
