Came home from work to another beautiful litter from my orange phase female! She had 13 healthy happy little nippers and 2 slugs. A bit smaller litter than last year (she had 18)but the babies look just as nice. I will post pics as soon as I get a chance. This is our second litter of BRB's this year and we still have our Guyana redtails and Amazon tree boas to go! Hope everyone elses year is as productive as possible.

Well it turns out there were not 13 healthy babies born. I checked on the mom this morning and noticed another little head poking up from under the newspaper. There were two more babies hiding inside the flourescent light in the cage when I cleaned it out yesterday(the light has not been plugged in so it was not hot)! I thought I checked the entire cage when I cleaned up, but I neglected to look inside the light. It's always nice to wake up to more babies!! Almost like having another mini litter.
