Average Length???

I'm sure this has been gone over 1,000 times but the search button is not the best it could be. What is the average size and wieght of a male burm 1 year old? I thought my guy was a bit on the small side when he was younger hearing of 10 and 12 footers in the first year. I was kinda happy he was going to be small because a 15 foot adult would be fine for me. Anyway my guy is almost 11 months old 6'6". Is this within the bell curve? Anyone else have an 11 month old male?

That sounds perfectly normal. I have an 18 month or so burm that is around 8' and weighs about 20 pounds. I have never heard of a male burm reaching 12 foot in a year. Females yes but not males. Anyway, I would say your guy is just where he is supposed to be. Todd

I have a male burm, 11 months old, and is on 3.5 feet. He has never missed a feeding (exept when shedding).

My male (Boots) was 26" when I first got him. A year later, he was about 6 1/2'. He is three now and just over 8' and 15lbs.

I think my guy is more like 10 months old or so and about 6'1". He eats like a MONSTER now that I have him so he should grow much quicker. He was about 7 months old when I got him and not eating as much, now i cant even get him full, once he ate 3 jumbo rats in a week, fatty. So yea I'd say thats normal for a male burm since ur not gorging him with food. Good luck.
