i was looking at the sony digi cams yesterday i was going to buy one but couldn't make up my mind which to buy 3.2 mega pixels for $279 or 5.0 mega pixels for $399 i was wondering if anybody here knew if it was a big difference between them(if its worth the extra $120)

The 5 mp is for doing a lot of custom croping and very detailed close-ups, I have the 3.2 and it takes really good close-ups of my chameleons without a problem.

do you have any pics posted that i could see ?
i went to best buy they dont have any display pics from the cameras so i have no idea lol

Ive got a canon powershot s50 5.0 megapixel. I love that thing, I can take a pic of a cham from across the room and crop it down and still be able to see every single scale on the chams body in the picture. most of the pictures on my website were taken from a long distance away and then cropped down and they are all still incredibly clear. Matt has a slightly lower megapixel camera, 3 something I believe, but that takes really good pics as well. He brought it down last time he came over and we were comparing them. If you want truly awesome pics go for the 5.0 but if price is the biggest factor then go for the lower megapixel, not quite as good but still plenty good enough for reptile pics. Hope this helps

takes good pics had to resize this to fit the original looks better im still tryin to figure out the macro mode lol
