Indo Tree Boa (looking for information/care sheet)

Scelus May 29, 2004 02:03 PM

Hey all, I've recently discovered the beauty of arboreal constrictors. A local pet shop just received a juvenile Indo Tree Boa, and I've been salivating at the chance to own it. Unfortunately, I can't find any information as to their disposition, adult size, or requirements.
I've read that arboreal snakes tend to be aggressive, but the snake I handled had the temperament of a Rosy Boa.

Basically, if I could get a link to a care sheet, or maybe a bit of information as to the species, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks!

What the pet shops usually label as Indonesian Tree Boas are almost always Candoia carinata carinata. Check out the link below, and email Jerry Conway (the author) for more info.
