black widow spider?

I live in Florida an have a outdoor cage for my nile. today when I was changing his water I spotted a black widow , I killed it!! an then seen some egg sacs. but no other spiders. has anyone heard of any spider or insect bites hurting any reptiles caged outside. thanks jim
