Today I put my Cornutum pair outdoors in the big cage. There is one other male in there and as I set the second male down next to the first I would swear the first hissed and then ran off.
Within ten minutes the second male started crawling toward the female. He flattened himself out and crawled low to the ground as he approched her. She hoisted herself up on front legs with head held very high and again I think she kind of snorted, raising her tail to show she wasn't interested. He approched her and licked her a few times and that was that.
I have never seen this behavior before and wondered if anyone else had a similar experience to relate?
