I have a female and a male P.standingi together. They've been together for over a year now. She laid two infertile eggs last June, and a brilliant bright white egg in September(that she dropped), and that's it. I haven't found another egg in the cage since. She's eating well, always chubby and I've seen mating occur several times. I guess my question is, even if the eggs aren't fertile, should she be laying on a schedule? For example, my friend has a female argus monitor and she lays an infertile clutch religiously every 2 months. Does that happen with female day geckos or do they only lay when fertilized? I have a nesting box in the cage for her, but still nothing....
Thanks
