Worms?

riiotgrrl May 29, 2004 03:50 PM

I was just wondering what your opinions were. I just finished soaking my ig, and when she was done pooping, i noticed stuff in the tub that looked like orange pulp. She did have an orange 2 nights ago, and she tends to eat the pieces whole....(my bad..when she smells it i dont have time to break it up). I (being a devoted ig mommy) reached into the poo (ugh*) and pulled out the pieces. The were orange, and had the consistancy of orange pulp (ugh....ugh*). Her basking spot is around 100*, but she ate the orange fairly shortly before going to bed. (her woen choice). Now, i know what cat worms look like. they are not orange. And the peices that were in her poo were alot bigger and not wormy (is this a weird question?? am i just paranoid??) I will have a fecal done on her as soon as i can, i was just wondering if this sounds like worms or not. (probably i just need re assurance that she isnt going to die before tuesday...../ although i know she won't. you all know what it is to be ig mommies/daddies) any thoughts are appreciated. Oh ps she is strictly an indoor girl, and before i got her in october she was fully examined.

I have seen white pin worms move in Woodstock's poop.

Are they orange urates? Felix has orange urates most of the winter.

No, it was not urates. The more research i do, the more i am thinkin that it was not worms. It was definately orange pulp. I was just flippin out.
