Eggs in Incubator...

koenigspythons May 29, 2004 08:44 PM

I have some eggs incubating right now...and at first the humidity was too low...so I took some paper towels and dampened them and placed them on the eggs. Well at first I was using the plain solid white paper towels, then I ran out of those and had put a paper towel with a design on it over the eggs. I was switching out the paper towel today and saw that some of the dye/ink from the paper towel had gotten onto some of the eggs. I went and bought some plain white paper towels again and switched it out immediately.

My question is...will the small amount of dye/ink effect any of the eggs. I'm hoping they will be alright and that the dyes are not toxic.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
