How do you tell the difference between a Hypo and normal hondurian? Anyone have a pic?
Baby hypos have purplish-gray bands instead of black bands. The overall pattern on babies looks "hazy" like the snake is always in shed. Adult Hondurans tend to darken and get a "wash" of black, along with black scale tipping. Hypos still get a little black scale tipping, but their orange coloration stays orange - like an orange barrel used in roadwork. Normal Hondurans gradually get dark red-orange.
Of course there are some very "clean" normal Hondos and some "dirty" hypos...and that is why you should buy your snakes from a reputable breeder. There are some additional hypo Honduran photos on my website.

Thanks for the info tim. I have just started in hondurian. Been doing corns for awhile just wanted a change. I have 1.1 anery 1.1 tangerine 0.1 tricolor het albino and 1.0 het hypo. Any suggestions on breeding this next year or what I should buy to improve my project.
