FEMALE MALI READY TO LAY EGGS!!!!! AHHHH!!!!

cv768 May 29, 2004 11:39 PM

Alrighty, we're pretty excited...finally our largest female mali is going to lay eggs. We've placed her alone in her nest box (rubbermaid 3.3 gal) with a 50/50 mix of sand and peat moss.

She's dug around a lot but no eggs quite yet...

She has stopped eating and drank a little bit of water when we offered it to her.

Any suggestions as to what else we could do???

Also does anyone know if they can lay more than one clutch??? and what are average clutch sizes???

thanks.
