any diurnal frogs good for beginner?

Diurnal: active during the day as opposed to night.

How about fire-bellied toads? They aren't strictly diurnal but are often awake and active during the day. Very hardy animals, not a bad amphibian to start with if you ask me. Have a look at www.amphibian.co.uk/bombina.html for care information. Good luck,
