I have hatched many, many clutches of carpet pythons over the years but have never had an instance of twinning. I know it happens and have seen pics posted by other snake breeders but now I guess I can join that crowd 
I did check and account for all babies and no others were missing as in they were visiting in the neighboring egg, LOL.
