Breeding leopard geckos

Herp-Boy May 30, 2004 11:42 AM

I was wondering what size a leopard gecko should be before breeding them? I had heard that 50 grams was the best time to breed them. Since I do not have a scale I was wondering if I can breed a almost 1 year old female and a 2 year old female or if that is too young. I was thinking about putting my two females in a cage with a male. I know that pictures would be great to tell the size but my parents haven't gotten one yet and caring for all of my herps has taken a chunk out of my wallet so I can't get one now all I have to do now is get a male!!!!

at that age i'm sure they're both fine to breed, but first if u can find someone who has a gram scale that u can use, i'd do that, otherwise they should be fine.

Thank you very much. Oh and by the way do you know where I could get one of these gram scales?
