albey's incubation method

xruthlessx76 May 30, 2004 12:08 PM

does she put water in the bottom of the incubator?
and it says once a week she opens the egg box...for how long? full day? hour?
and is there any other way to get the right perlite/water mix without a scale
thanks

1) Albey is a he not a she.

2) NO water in the bottom of the incubator

3) Just need to open the containers for a few seconds to let bad air out, good air in. As it gets closer to time for the eggs to hatch, check the containers more frequently, but I have had hatchlings in over night before I found them and they were fine.

4) Not sure, but a scale is very inexpensive, check ebay.

Hi. Ya for the longest time I thought Albey was a she. I got my scale off ebay for like 10 bucks shipped. works great.

Really only a few seconds? I do it for like 20 minutes... hm, I guess a few seconds will do the trick too without as much temp. fluctuations.
