Congratulations on your new corn! Try using the max feeding/growth rate... I started out feeding my snow corn 1 frozen/thawed pinky mouse every 5 days, then after a few times doing that, moved her up to 2 every 5 days, THEN 3 pinkies every 5 days. She's 9 months old/20 inches now and on fuzzies.

I'd recommend waiting for her to grow normally. Just feed her, enjoy her "childhood" & watch her grow normally. Feed her once a week.

Maxing on feeding or "Powerfeeding" can cause the pin head syndrome, where your snakes body is too big for its head. That is a visable sign of what is wrong with powerfeeding. It can also put too much stress on your snakes organs and cause internal problems. I fed my baby snake 1 pinkie every 5 days. He is now big enough for fuzzys, and gets 1 every 7-10 days. I let him tell me when he is hungery. When he is, he will start hunting in his enclosure.

I don't see anything wrong with feeding 1 pinkie every 5 days because they are not as nutrious and take less time to digest. More than 1 probably isn't the best idea, although, I am sure there are plenty who have done or do it now without any problems.
Once a snake is big enough for fuzzys, it's best feed fuzzys because they are more nutrious.

Good luck,
Brett
