Handling Leopards

ZeroX May 30, 2004 01:39 PM

I just got my first leo today! YEAH!!!!!! I'm so excited. He's a spotted circle back with yellow and white stripes and he's so beautiful. (I'll post pics soon)

From head to tail he is about four inches and he looks to be about six weeks old.

But my question is, when should I start handling him? I want to handle him early, so he gets used to me fast and we'll have a good relationship.

Please reply.

Thanks in advance,

~ZeroX

There are three steps to caring for animals:

Feed, Clean, Handle, Nuture...

I wouldn't handle any new herp for a week or more. And if I was you, I'd wait until he is a bit older. 4 inches is fairly small yet and handling him may stress him more then if he was older. They are quite easy to tame. If you need some taming tips, Click here.
