what is the common name for Gekko Vittatus?
I like these guys too but can't find too much info on them...

the common name for gecko vittatus is palm gecko or try skunk gecko hope this helps.

white lined gecko is also a very common name for vittatus.

Here is my gekko vittatus viv...12Wx18Lx36H. I dont think a screen cage would normally be good for vittatus as the humidity would get to low, but mine is surrounded on 3 sides so it works.

very nice setup.

I absolutely have to know:.... what is on the inside of the walls? is it regular wood plancks, or some plastic?

the reason i'm asking is because i'm building a similar terrarium for my 2 geckos ( a very high (2meters high) terrarium!) and its an old wooden bookshelf of some sort. What do i need to worry about.

would spraying the wood walls cause problems like rotting or moist or anything?
