i make sure and have the enclosure set up before hand so all is ready when the time comes and ya dont have to rush around. i usually remove the baby fairly quick once i see them, i dont want them to accidentally eat the vermiculite and get impacted. i have the hides ready and i throw some crumpled up paper towels in so they can feel more secure......... then i just wait for em to shed and poop and your on your way

I remember reading that its good to leave them in the incubator for like a half hour then introduce them...but by the time i find them thatll prolly already have happened....ill try that paper towel thing to its a good idea...do you just throw it there or do you put it in their hides?? thanks a lot....

yeah generally by the time you find them they have been in there a little bit of time, thirty minutes or an hours isnt going to hurt. you could try to put them in their hide but they are so squirmy all they do is run around heheh i just put em in there and let them find their way and try to leave em alone for awhile. i make sure and try to mist down the enclosure a couple of times a day. i make my hides out of small pplastic cups cut in half long ways, im sure you could do it with the dixie paper bathroom cups too and i make the water dishes out of the same thing but cut down short
