First of all, congrats on hatching out planicauda. I was wondering if you have raised any of your Pyxis offspring to an age or size that they can be sexed. Do you have any idea what temperatures produces females and males in the Pyxis subspecies?

Thanks

See my post below concerning incubation temps. My oldest CB Pyxis is only a year old, and I have not tried to determine the sex. There may be some info in Victor Loehr's European studbooks since they have been producing them longer than us.

My experience is the same as Dan's. Also since we are both using a variable temperature incubation regimen I don't think that it will necessarily be as straightforward as incubating eggs at a single temperature. Tme will tell though...
