How much should Florida King be fed?

asp9208 May 30, 2004 05:29 PM

How do I know when my florida king is ready for larger mice or simply more smaller mice? Basically, when do I know to give him more?

In my opinion a decent meal is one that leaves a visible lump. Nothing grotesque, just a lump.

Yeah, but seeing a visible lump means you've ALREADY decided on the meal size! A bit late to make adjustments... lol j/k

Just go with food items that are 1.5x (give or take) the fattest part of the snake and you won't starve or overfeed your snake.
