Timetables of copulation to egg laying

vpc May 30, 2004 07:37 PM

Hello everyone,

I was wondering, what is the estimated time table from copulation to egg laying in Tegus? Better yet, can anyone point me in the direction for detailed information on breeding, including specific timetables? I cannot find any of this anywhere, only general breeding info which only helps to a point. Thanks

Anyone? Thanks

Our first clutch was atypical but it was laid in December after introducing the male and female in October. Copulation started almost immediately and we left them together until the clutch was laid. Not much help but it's the best I can offer.

Thank you. Any information about breeding is helpful since I cannot find any detailed info out on the web. I would love to hear more, like tips/tricks/trials/tribulations/insight to the process. So thanks again.

For those of you wish to know the answer, it is on average 30 days past a successful copulation dependant on the type of Tegu as well. Thank you Stella St.Pierre
