Tonight while i was checking on the geckos after getting home from work, both Zoe and Boo were out laying in the open. Despite being in separate tanks they were close enough together for me to really notice how much of a size difference there is between them.

Zoe is HUGE in comparison to Boo. Boo has always been larger than any of my other geckos but now Zoe has surpassed him.

Is it normal for females to get larger than males? I haven't changed the feeding of any of them.

lol you'd better say yes - I'm about an inch taller than my fiancee, and taller than a lot of guys I know

And it's not unusual for the same to happen with leos. One of ours, Gwen, is pretty big.

Thanks, personally i thought it a bit odd to have a female so much larger than a male. Typically in nature males are alot larger minus certain species i know about.

Well i won't put her on a diet them LOL but i'm still shocked to see how much larger she is then Boo.
