What about using bug spray/calling an exterminator?

fadetolemons May 30, 2004 10:13 PM

We've been having problems with bugs recently, and i get really freaked out by spiders and roaches (i'm fine with crickets and mealworms though lol). but yeah, we're thinking about calling an exterminator or just using some powerful bugspray and everything, but is this safe for my leos? We were worried so I Was going to check into it before doing anything, thanks, Will.

I dont think I'd leave any living thing in a building when they are spraying for bugs....now if you have a room w/ windows where you dont have to spray and you could move your leos in there maybe....but I def. wouldnt have them in a room while being sprayed.

Well i was also talking about just using household bugspray around them, if I wasn't going as far as calling an exterminator.

Your crickets will die if they get the slightest whiff of spray. My supplier said even perfume on the postal lady can kill them. The geckos aren't as sensitive but still use caution.
