Well, it's been 3 weeks since I got Fluffy. (yes, my son still hates the name lol)He started out as a hissing, whipping, snapping monster once I got him home to a better enviroment. By that I mean heat, humidity, basking lights and a proper diet. The poor animal lived in an aquarium and ate catfood.
His tail is much thinker and the odor he had seems to be gone.
He no longer hides when I come near, or puffs up and hisses when I open his enclosure. Just the opposite, I have to be careful he doesn't get out now. He's actually ran over my arm and almost got out while changing his water once. The sucker is strong and I was worried about me ears while pulling him off to put him back. I remember a story Shvar told about his ear before. lol
He is a eating machine and I get worried about his appitite sometimes.
We had to go out of town for a Tae Kwon Do tounament, so I fed him 4 hoppers, threw in 2 dozen crickets and scattered a dozen worms in his dirt to hold him over. Well, 5 minutes later all was eaten and he looked like he was going to pop but wanted more.
He did something I've never seen or heard about. He found all the worms and dragged them to one spot before eating them.
