OK Ive decided I'm going to join the club, soon at least. Im in awe about the condas and like em a lot. Im going to have to wait a couple weeks at least until my animal plastics cages arrive for my burms. I think im going to get a male green considering all the extra demands that come with a female(food, space, ect). Here are some questions, Where is a good place to buy greens? How much are they generally? How quick do they grow? Will a 6x3 be alright for a while? And what happend to arik?

A good place to buy one is probably going to take awhile to find either way.. lol, right now, I would say the best place would be Kelly Haller... I would say the average price on a CB *hopefully* doctile one would be $200-$250 And yeah, as long as you don't get a large adult a 6x3 should be absolutly fine for awhile.. and as for their growth rate, my female green is growing at a pretty good rate, shes about to start on med rats at about 4.1 months... How old is the batch of greens she still has, and also how is the temperment of your guy?

First Kelly is a he. He may have a few left. He breeds of temperment. they are the most docile reptile you will ever see. He did write a article in the january issue of Reptile magazine about breeding green anacondas. In my opinion he is the best in the business by far. Last time i checked he was selling them for $200 or $350 for a pair. He is on this forum or you can find him on KS classifieds. If you are goin to buy a green, dont get from anyone else, Kelly is the best.

one more thing, a friend of mine also got one from Kelly and it has the extreme docile temperment as well. he is happy with his snake.
