Right food?

Hey guys/gals, I have a 3 month old ball (sparticus). He's about 20 inches right now with an appropriate thickness. Currently, he's feeding on rat pups. My question is, is that the proper thing to be feeding him at this size? and when and what will i move onto after he gets a little bit larger?

thnx

If the rat pup is leaving a lump then continue feeding him that. If not the feed him something 1-1.5 times the biggest part of his body.

I always feed like that, they have a good sized lump after feeding, and it is always gone within a couple of days (sometimes longer if they decide they don't want to go on the heat).
