Tec update

stardust May 31, 2004 11:15 AM

Lets try this again. Update on Tec: Growing like a weed!!!
Only tailwhips when I pick him up from the ground. Other than that getting more and more friendly and likes being taken out of cage. Loves bathtime!!!!
He still wont eat pinkies and definetly won't eat crickets unless absolutely neccasary.
He is now running on top as one of my favorite animals, his personality wouldn't have it any other way

He eats ground turkey, occasionally he will pick at a mealy worm. I tried eggs just to get him to eat but he would have nothing to do with them, then one day, while he was on my desk I found out he LOVED my tuna fish sandwich. Soooooooo off to the store I go. Tried first goldfish, ate one left the rest. Then came the sardines, now this he likes sometimes, and of course tuna. I have also gotten him to eat some banana and apple now
I put his vits mixed in with turkey so he gets his vitamins. As for now, that is about all he will eat. Turkey so far hands down is his favorite. I am thinking of crushing food up and mixing it with his turkey and see how that goes. I tried that once with a grape and he refused to eat. He is growing fast and seems to be fine, no tremors or anything so the vits are getting in him well enough, I just have to get him on something else before adulthood and obessness sets in.

there is a shot of his cage, it sits on the floor in my room. I have U shaped desk (huge)and he is under a 1/3 of it with lights behind the grey so you cant see them from the front. I still have to put a new hide in there, I have plastic on the bottom to help with cleanup time.
I thought with him in my room first I can easily make my whole room for him to roam and try to train him to use his own potty in my bathroom. If he allows all to go according to what I plan he will be trained and can roam more of the house when he is old enough. Hopefully, lol.
