I am currently in Austria and will be returning to the US in December. I have friends who own pet stores here and want to obtain herps from the US, but dont want to buy in huge quantities that most breeders require for international shipments. I am trying to act as an intermediary for them buying the herps in the US and then shipping them on to Austria, which animal transport service is best from the US to Europe, and what are approx. costs??
On another note, has anyone constructed reusable herp transporters that are more stable than just a styrofoam box. IE something with a heating element, battery and thermostat??? I am worried about temps for longer journeys across the ocean, and this will most likely be reused quite a few times. Thanks for any help.
