Hey Guys, turning humid hide into regular hide question?

jack7777766 Jun 18, 2003 11:23 AM

Alright so my little guy never uses his humid hide, the humidity in the room is between 55-70% and I spray the cage every other day, Ive never seen him use his hide at all so I want to get rid of it. He always hides in the plants bt I was wondering if there is any sort of hide that they would use more and would make them feel safer?? I want him to feel as secure as possible, what could I use for a hide, that he would use??

Thanks
Jack

Jack,
Yeah they rarely use the hide boxes, just the females when laying. I wouldn’t even bother with them otherwise and just stick to the plants. All our guys curl up in the leaves or under a branch that the cork bark is covering during the day. Although we do have one that uses a rock hide box once in awhile, but he def could live without. So I would stay with the plants. Best of Luck.
