Just thought i'd share this (cuz the people here are the only ones who'd understand) I was converting an old stereo into a new enclosure and had bought most of the stuff to do it except for the solid glass front which was going to cost me $75-80. So I'm driving around on Saturday when i go past a yard sale and they have an 8ft store display case for $25!!!,,,,,soooooo, i've scrapped the stereo idea and can use most, if not all, of the stuff that i've already bought to convert the display case. The case is 8ft by 2ft by 2.5ft (not counting the 1ft base it sits on),,,,, actually 'living' space is 6ft long and it has 2ft of storage for all my lizard supplies. It perfect....just a little work here and there and some paint for the outside,,,, Oh, did i mention that its already wired for a florescent bulb? I'm sooo excited. Ok sorry,,,, had to share, thanks for listening. Lo.

I found a display case at a flea market. It was $125.00 but well worth the money. It also had a built in Flourescent fixture that took 2 bulbs. It works very nicely. Good luck and post pics when your done.

what did you do for ventilation? I'm considering removing the top glass and putting it at the back (to replace the sliding wood doors)and then just making a screen top,,,,any opinions??L.
