incubation

My tawain beauty eggs have been forming mold on them it's not the first time that it happened.........how can i avoid this problem? and what are the causes?

Hi there,

If you're sure the eggs were good when they were laid, then your problem could be simply due to too much humidity. Try drying out your medium or replacing it completely.
If you don't think that's the problem, it could also be because you're keeping bad/dead eggs with good ones, and they are rotting and it's spreading. Try cutting away any bad eggs and removing them from your incubator, that way the mold can't spread and kill otherwise healthy eggs. A little bit of mold isn't usually a problem, and unless the eggs really seem to be going bad under it, then they should still hatch fine. Either way, I'd try drying out the substrate to slow the growth of the mold.
