DOR, Mo. Fox Snake(endandered)

thecaiman Jun 01, 2004 11:03 AM

We found this big guy yesterday. Full grown healthy looking. Apeared as though it had gotten rolled by a rig. What a shame, these guys are endangered in MO. I hate to see that with any snake especially on thats endangered. We found this one along a highway in N.E.Mo proablly came out and about after all the rain Sunday night. Beyond that we found a few really nice yearling red milks, plenty of ringnecks and a few racers.

Hey,

It sucks that they are endangered in your state. Here in Illinois you have to watch your step. Thats just how common they are, just about as common as garters.
