I have been seeing a lot of P. platyrhinos (desert horned lizars) on price lists lately. I know no horned lizard is an easy captive. Out of this group how does this one rate? I house my reptiles outdoors in the summer. (See skink pen below)
I little fruit in the enclosure and the are a lot of ants. Will P.platyrhinos eat other insects through the winter? Do they need to hibernate to breed?
