moving s leopard gecko

mefingas Jun 01, 2004 01:52 PM

My husband and I are thinking about getting a leopard gecko. The only thing is right now we are living in az but once my husband job in the forestry ends in early oct. we are going to move from az maybe back to mi. What we were wondering is there any way to move the gecko when that time comes or would it be best to give the gecko to one of our friends? Thanks for the help

move your leopard gecko just like you would move your dog, in a cage, with you, maybe in a car, or if you are flying, ship it to wherever and tell the post office to hold it and you can come and pick it up.

They're fine moving.
I've taken mine in car, and ferry mulitple times. They're not thrilled of course but they come out fine.

i use rubber maid containers to transport them. Note, dont' put a water dish in their containers if you're in the car. It just spills all over the place, hydrate them when you stop or some other way :P
