Post your tangerine trempers!

Blazin Jun 18, 2003 12:07 PM

Got this girl from a friend that bought some 10 lots of trempers from a wholesaler. I normally don't go that route but I am sure glad I got this girl. She will be crossed to my jungle male albino in hopes of some tang jungles.

Here is my Rainwater Albino het for Patternless Male. He is less than two months old, but his color is coming in nicely. Check out the orange coming in on his head.

Weighed her yesterday, and she's finally made up some of that lost weight from being lost for five months, and looks very healthy....she's finally up to 45 grams which the minimum I like to use for breeding, so she will be bred soon!

Here's mine, not as nice as yours, but he still is a cutie! He was sold to me as a Tremper Jungle Tangerine Albino. He lost a lot of the orange, but he still has some, it is just hard to see in this picture.

and she has a some carrottail on her too. The dad is a hypotang albino w/ some carrot as well, so I am hioping this girl witll turn out superhypo with some carrot. Her body doesn't look very orange yet, but her head is really dark orange, which usually indicates that they will get more orange as they mature.

Her color looks washed out in this pic, she is much prettier in person!

This pic is pretty old, from december, but I thought it was pretty and artsy. She is bigger now, and has laid two fertile clutches so far. The first clutch had only one good egg, and I incubated it for male, it is due to hatch any day now. I had a dream last night that it was a tangerine patternless albino (father is het patternless, mom is 50% poss het patternless, so he could be!)

Here is a pic of one that I used to own. She is now owned by Petesgeckos. Maybe he will see this and post a newer pic of her??
