Economics of large scale breeding

lizardhut42 Jun 18, 2003 12:15 PM

I'm trying to work out the numbers on scaling up my breeding projects, and I would like to discuss my conclusions with anybody that works with more than 25 breeding groups. I'm working for the most part with Phlsuma but anybody who is serious would be great. Any takers?
Thanx

I work with a collect of 260 day geckos with about 23 breeding groups. The only thing that limits my collection is space and my abilities to manage it. I work full time with the geckos. The day geckos are priced from $35 to $225. This business pays for itself, but the goal was never profit, rather we have a conservation goal. Go to our website and contact me directed if I can be useful. www.daygecko.com
