Fertile or Infertile?

gbkulture86 Jun 01, 2004 06:02 PM

i have had 3 of my females lay 2 clutches each in the past year and none of them seem fertile. ive kept them until they mold, but they just wont hatch. this clutch, (should be very nice by the way leucistic triple het belle X albino shct) seems most promising, its been about 5 weeks and everything looks fine except the bottoms of the eggs are turning soft..and when i candle them i see a reddish glow but no veins. any help appreciated. THANKS! -will

Could be that the soil is to moist. If the egg is pink, thats a sure fertile sign. All I do is soak and drain at much water as I can out of the vermiculite. Maby a picture could help us at King Snake out.

Hope you get a good egg.
