how old do corn snakes have to be? I have a 2 year old female and a male thats just over a year(i think never got an exact time of hatching) do the males have to be older than that or is that a good age to start them?

yes, that is a good age to try and breed them.
Females need to be at least 2 years and males at least 1 to 1 and a half years of age. Although, they may or may not breed that early, it depends on how well they were fed, how warm they were kept, a lot of variables.
