Hello everyone. I haven't been on this board for over two years now, so I'm sure no one remembers me. I really need some help.
My Mom has been caring for my dragon for 2 years now because I moved to Michigan and couldn't take him with. I need to find him a new home ASAP because she cant afford to give him what he needs and his health is deteriorating. I really hate to give him up but it will be at least another year before I can move him to Michigan. He is located in PHX, AZ and I would prefer to give him to someone who lives in AZ and has experience with CWD's. I am not asking for any money, just a good home with a loving caretaker. He may need a vet visit due to mouth rot.
Here is some info about him:
I adopted him in January of 2000 so he is a little over 4 years old. When properly taken care of he is a bluish color with pretty pink jowls. He has very unique colors which set him apart from the other dragons I have seen and owned. Last time I saw him he was 2.5 feet long and that was 2 years ago. At that time he had all of his toes and a perfect tail with no breaks or anything. As far as I know, other than his nose he is still in great shape. He is in a cage that is WAY too small for him and it is killing me to know this. He has been bred with another CWD 3 times in the past with successfull hatchlings. All of his offspring were healthy critters. Some even took on his coloring. He needs to be socialized but he doesnt bite, with the exception of me. He developed a dislike for me when he caught me snatching the eggs out of the cage. Oh! He does hold grudges. My small dog tried to bite his tail once so he tries to attack her when she comes near. My other animals he is just fine around.
Please, can anyone help me?
