Cage Cleaning

ben_renick Jun 02, 2004 11:16 AM

I was just wondering, I'm about to move my Green into my old burms cage for awhile right now, it's a 40 gal breeder, but I want to make sure this cage is as clean as possible before I put her in it, so what is the best way to clean a glass cage? I just don't want to put window cleaner or anything in there until I know it's safe. It will deffinently be sprayed with black knight and a reptile oderizer... But what should I use?

~Ben

Thank you Ginger! and Welcome Back Arik!!!! Finally get more pics of some bigger greens!

I actualy will use windex with amonia from time to time...but a bleach solution works well to disinfect. Just remember with any sort of disinfectant you need to rinse it out again with water and probably soap and water, then normal water. Rocal is probably the best disinfectant that is the safest thing I know of. It is what I use for all my water bowls. From what I have heard, you just need to wipe away and no need to rinse out.
