Help please!?

BareFootWhiteMan Jun 02, 2004 02:22 PM

Hi, I have just acquired an Adult Proven Breeder Hypo Blood Red Corn, Het for Amel. I would like to know the typical value of this animal. Now mostly I deal with hots, not non-vens. At least not Corns. I do know that Hatchling Blood Corns(not Hypo)(not Het) they go for $200 as hatchlings!! But I dont know if this type of Corn is in common circulation or not.

Anyway, help would be appreciated.

Hatchling bloodreds are going for anywhere between $75 and $100 now, so your information about those snakes is a bit off in that regard. However, true hypobloodred hatchlings are still being found for anywhere between $150 and $200, depending on the person from whom they are bought.

The fact that the animal is het for amelanism is not going to increase the value very much. In fact, there are some people who would pay more, if you could guarantee no amel possibilities at all!

Unless you are sure that your hypobloodred is exactly that, I wouldn't get too many dollar signs in your eyes. There are a lot of lightly colored normal bloodreds being passed off as hypos. Could you possibly supply a picture of your new acquisition? That would make an assessment that much more certain.

Hey, thanks for the info. The price I stated was the only price I could base my assesment on. I will have pics soon. I am not trying to put a huge price on this animal, I just want to know what it is worth. B/c I have no idea, and dont want to under or over price it. And I wasent trying to say that it being het for amel made it so much more worth $. Just giving the full description.

I've never seen an Adult Proven Breeder Hypo Blood Red Corn, Het for Amel with viper pits before, you might have a new pattern/color snake there!

Dude, tell me you had a telephoto lens on that!

I want one! Seriously, I don't think I can handle a hot right now, but that's the coolest thing I've heard in a while. How much does that snake go for?

The price on blood red hatchlings has really dropped this year.Even the het for hypo are going for 75 dollars. For a proven breeder with pics of him breeding you might get 200 dollars.Im not saying your corn isnt proven but anymore people ask for pics and proof.
