Question??

Ok, this pic is a comparison picture. The smaller cottons on the left were produced by myself, born in Sept. of last year. They were perfect in every way. Began eating with no problems. Now, the larger ones on the right were born virtually at the same time as my two. These two were produced from a good friend of mine. They did not begin eating until the first of Feb. of this year! The whole time they were not eating they still grew. Now they eat on a regular basis same as the smaller two. The smaller ones are about 12-14 inches, but the bigger ones are 2FT+ now!! I only feed them once a week if that! The larger of the 2 big ones now eats rabbit fuzzies!! Is it normal to have ones with this size difference??

this isn't that uncommon. there are many variabilities that affect growth rates; not just feeding. genetics, environment, diet, vitamin/mineral intake, fluids, etc. all play important roles. from teh looks of it, all of the snakes appear to be in excellent health; every animal is unique and this is just another example to show their unique qualities.
