well, she put up a good fight, but she wasnt getting better. she was still eating and drinking, so i cant say she was getting worse. however, she never regained use of her hind legs and was still getting around by using only her front limbs. this morning i found that a cricket had nibbled away at the skin on one of her back legs, which gave me the idea she had possibly lost all sensation on her back end. so i made the decision to put her to sleep. it was sad. i am keeping her preserved though just in case her illness comes up again in another one of my leaf tails so the vet will have a dead one to check out (and possibly dissect) if it should help any. she was very good to me, gave me 3 babies.

I had hoped as I'm sure you did , that she may come around and gain the use of her little legs.

Thats such a shame, but you did the right thing.At least you have some of her young ones,good luck with the rest of your phants.
