Who do you like better and why ? It aint the best pic, so assume the lighter animal (Sol) has a bright orange tail and the darker aqnimal (Ari) has a dark red tail.... if these two produced and the litter was 50/50 light vs contrast and you could only pick one.. which would it be?

... it kills time while I am at work!
I like the darker animal here (Ari). Contrast is a great characteristic to have.... just look at Pete Watsons Peruvians & South Brazilians!!!
Take care C,
Eric

Just kidding Charles.

every one is totally unique. Just look at the animals posted on this forum, even if they are sibblings they are completely different... I just love boas.. all boas

im with you,... all boas rule.i wasnt implying that ANY look the same by any stretch . i just havent seen as many like sol with the super light saddles, thats what i mean by unique. they are all unique, i thinks tahts why we love them and would bother to keep more than one! bet egads, you got some great animals! i need to start taking mine outside for photos sessions, the ones with natural light always turn out great.

great animals and photos charles, always a pleasure to view!

lol... i jumped on this girl because THIS WEEK im goo goo over ladder tails... she should show up tommorow. and like you said, color doesnt count for a year (and i dont think this is a great pic either).

next week i might freak out over thin saddles,.. or super high peaks.... theres so many different qualities to get excited about. in the long run none of it matters so long as the boas are healthy and happy, there is much to admire.

but I agree with you..what I look for changes all the time. The only characteristic that doesn't change for me is a symmettrical pattern.. thin saddle , thick saddles, peaks, no peaks, clean, speckly... who cares they are all beautiful creatures and it is a pleasure to raise them and watch them mature...and hopefully some day watch them produce mini-boas.

not that Sol isn't to die for. Ari is my fave among your suris.

eurban2 Jun 18, 2003 05:24 PM

I also really love faded or reduced patterns and (of course) the vivid tail! Ahhhhh, I envy you Charles.

Jonathan_Brady Jun 18, 2003 05:43 PM

sol SMOKES ari if for nothing else, just for the simple fact that contrast (as intense as it is on ari) is far easier to find that the "hypo" look of the light saddles. i like unique and as was stated earlier, they're all unique, but you'll find ari-like animals easier than you will sol-like animals.
later man, jb
