Uromastyx and Collared together?

LeprdGeckoGuy Jun 02, 2004 05:14 PM

I have a relatively small Mali uro, can I house it with a collared. Would a collared do ok in a uro setup? I was going to put them in a 60 gallon. Thanx
Erik

Hi, I would not do it. I have both Uromastyx and collareds.

Uro's jaws are really strong if they want to bite.

Also the temps for a uromastyx tank should be about 120 degrees NORMALLY,

the collareds tank should be 100 - 105 BIG DIFFERNCE !

Collareds use a water bowl uro's none. Collareds eat BUGs as a staple diet. Uro's are basically vegatarian (a few bugs)

I say NO WAY ! Keep them apart !

Take care!
